Workaround - export to PDF and then use any other program to print duplex. LibreOffice Writer still does not do duplex printing. (bug reported over 5-years ago and not fixed). but no page numbers are actually printed. When I go either insert -> field -> page numbers, or insert -> field -> other -> document -> page numbers -> arabic numbers, what happens is that the footer will read "page number". There is no way to set it to use page numbers. I've spent an hour now going through every single menu in the entire LibreOffice Writer program, and searching online. In LibreOffice Writer, I can insert a footer and then insert 'Page number' there, and every page of my document will automatically now have the correct page number at the bottom.
